On ne voit qu\u2019elle dans de nombreux films historiques et pourtant personne ne la remarque. Les cin\u00e9astes s\u2019en servent pour donner une ambiance intimiste en la posant \u00e9clair\u00e9e sur un bureau ou une table. Il s\u2019agit de la lampe bouillotte.
Ceux qui, dans le temps, regardaient les nouvelles aventures de Vidocq<\/a>, avec Claude Brasseur, l\u2019ont forc\u00e9ment aper\u00e7ue. D\u2019autant plus qu\u2019en \u00e9tudiant attentivement les diff\u00e9rents \u00e9pisodes de la s\u00e9rie, on se rend compte que la production poss\u00e9dait tr\u00e8s peu de d\u00e9cors. Souvent, les m\u00eames accessoires \u00e9taient r\u00e9utilis\u00e9s dans diff\u00e9rentes sc\u00e8nes, dont notre fameuse lampe bouillotte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La lampe bouillotte est un petit luminaire d\u2019int\u00e9rieur, tr\u00e8s en vogue sous l\u2019Ancien r\u00e9gime. Elle est constitu\u00e9e d\u2019une tige verticale de 60 \u00e0 70 cm de long, sur laquelle est fix\u00e9 un bougeoir portant de une \u00e0 cinq bougies (on en trouve, dans les magasins de d\u00e9co avec des ampoules \u00e9lectriques). Un abat-jour, en t\u00f4le peinte, coulisse le long de cet axe vertical, permettant de donner plus ou moins de lumi\u00e8re. Un rh\u00e9ostat avant l\u2019heure, en quelque sorte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 l\u2019origine, cet \u00e9clairage \u00e9tait pos\u00e9 sur une table dite table bouillotte, d\u2019o\u00f9 son nom. C\u2019est sur ces tables, de 60 \u00e0 90 cm de diam\u00e8tre, elles-m\u00eames objets de d\u00e9coration tr\u00e8s pris\u00e9s, que l\u2019on jouait \u00e0 la Bouillotte. Il s\u2019agissait d\u2019un jeu de cartes qui pourrait s\u2019apparenter au poker, tr\u00e8s en vogue dans les salons hupp\u00e9s, \u00e0 la fin du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle.
